_
About this webinar
Trigger Warning: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are advised that this footage contains a deceased person.

To coincide with Dementia Australia's 2021 Dementia Action Week, AAG is delighted to highlight the work of ‘Dementia Reframed’ in this 30-minute conversation about living well with dementia. Their message for Dementia Action Week is that ‘Dementia is a disease NOT a death sentence!’ Dementia Reframed provide some effective strategies to help all those impacted, saying ‘we just need to use them and not be afraid of dementia!’ Dementia Reframed believe that when we get dementia support ‘right’, we will have changed our world for the better and for us all. Dementia is our challenge to change and our inspiration.

Dementia Reframed’s visions for changing attitudes surrounding dementia and enhancing care and support, is drawn out by: Nancy Russo along with AAG Members, Dr Gaynor Macdonald and A/Prof Jane Mears.
