Paulene Mackell is a PhD Candidate at RMIT University and currently resides in Mparntwe, Alice Springs. Paulene is an Honorary Research Fellow at Northern Institute, Charles Darwin University, and the National Ageing Research Institute, where she worked for 10 years. Paulene has coordinated Aged Care Assessment teams in urban and remote settings and has undertaken research with several Aboriginal community controlled organisations based in Central and North Western Australia. Her interests include generating relational and participatory methodologies, intergenerational connection and sustainable communities.
