The AAG 2023 annual general meeting (AGM) was held on 16 November 2023, during #AAGConf23 on the Gold Coast. Members, please be advised that the draft minutes from the 2023 AAG AGM are now available. The minutes include:

AAG500 blog: The power of community

In the last AAG500 blog for 2023, AAG's Communications, Advocacy and Grants Manager Dr Meg Polacsek considers the power of community. Starting with a scan through some initiatives listed in the UN's recent progress report on the Decade of Healthy Ageing, Meg looks at the sense of community at AAG.

This is our 48th consecutive and final Thursday Three for 2023. As the year draws to a close, we take this opportunity to thank all members, partners and supporters for your engagement with and contribution to AAG.

From the team at AAG National Office, here's wishing you all the very best for the festive season and for a happy and healthy 2024. We look forward to bigger and better opportunities and successes, working together to improve the experience of ageing through connecting research, policy and practice.

Please note that the National Office will close on Friday 22 December and reopen on Tuesday 2 January. We will also have reduced staffing in January, as a few AAG team members take well-deserved breaks. Just follow their auto replies, as needed.
