AAG Research Trust grants committee announcement

We are pleased to introduce two new members to the AAG team.
AAG Research Trust is delighted to announce new chair and program lead appointments to its grants committee. We welcome Prof Anne Marie Hill (pictured left) as incoming chair of the grants committee.
Anne Marie is Senior Principal Research Fellow in the School of Allied Health and WA Centre for Health and Ageing at The University of Western Australia. She takes over from Prof Julie Byles (pictured middle), who remains a valued member of the steering committee. We are very grateful to Julie for her significant contribution to the grants committee.
We also welcome A/Professor Tim Windsor (pictured right) as incoming program lead of the RM Gibson Program. Other program leads are Prof Keith Hill (Strategic Innovation Program), A/Prof Kate O'Loughlin (Hal Kendig Research Development Program) and Prof Ray Mahoney (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Review Panel).
Through the generosity of donors, AAG Research Trust provides member-led research grants to support new ideas, projects and career development. In 2021, an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander focus was established to help to address the lack of knowledge and take action to address cultural, psychological, social, economic and environmental issues amongst First Nation elders and to learn from their strengths.
AAG Research Trust grant rounds kick off in early 2023. There is a grant round for all types of research, including practitioner-led and those with demonstrable experience working with the community, early career and groups. Find out how to apply for a 2023 grant.
