AAG Board Elections (NT & VIC)

Voting open - Ballot closes 30th Sept - AAG Board Director - NT & VIC 2022 Nominees

Northern Territory - The current interim Director of AAG’s Board indicated that he would like to nominate for a first term from November 2022. This did not prevent other candidates from seeking the nomination.

Victoria - The current appointed Director of AAG’s Board who was nominated by Victorian members has completed her second term and so will not be able to seek a further re-election. This created a vacancy for a nominee from AAG members of Victoria.

In accordance with the AAG Constitution and By-laws, AAG sought nominees for the vacancy from all current Northern Territory and Victorian members by Tuesday 30th August. As there are two nominations for the vacancy in NT and three for Victoria, a vote by financial members of those two states/territories is now required. The outcome of the election will be officially announced at AAG's Annual General Meeting on 16th November 2022 which will be held digitally.

Northern Territory members you would have received an email from us on Monday the 5th of September to vote for one of the two nominees.

Victorian members you would have received an email from us on Monday the 5th of September to vote for one of the three nominees.

Ballots close 30th September 6.30pm AEST

Authentic Co-design? - Nothing About Us Without Us

AAG NSW Division is hosting a one-day event, with A/Prof Peter Bragge, 2022 Glenda Powell Travelling Fellow. For those who were unable to attend the AAG Victoria and AAG ACT Division events, and if you are in this is your chance to hear expert, A/Prof Peter Bragge, speaking on the topic of ‘What does co-design actually look like?’ online.

This one-day event will involve a combination of lecture-style learning, discussion and a practical workshop. It will address the fundaments of co-design based on prioritisation and evidence review methods. Practical, successful co-design examples will be presented by our guest speakers from HCNSW and consumer representatives. This event will include a one-hour tribute to the late Dr Alison Rahn who died in 2021. A former member of the NSW Division committee.
