AAG was saddened to be informed of AAG member and dementia advocate, Dr Gaynor Macdonald. Gaynor passed away peacefully on, July 28th. She was diagnosed with an inoperable cancer only a few weeks beforehand. Gaynor, along with fellow AAG member, A/Prof Jane Mears founded ‘Dementia Reframed’. AAG was delighted to highlight the work of ‘Dementia Reframed’ in a 30-minute conversation about living well with dementia for Dementia Action Week 2021. Our condolences to Gaynor’s family, Jane and the Dementia Reframed team, who are committed to continuing Gaynor's vision of enabling people and their carers to live well with dementia
