The Strategic Innovation Program (SIP) supports a broad range of projects, including qualitative and quantitative research, implementation and/or evaluation projects.
This grant program is made possible through a generous bequest from the estate of William Peter Steele Nicholson, leading to the establishment of the AAG Research Trust.
Any AAG member is eligible to apply for a SIP grant. We especially encourage applications from early to mid-career researchers or practitioners with up to eight years’ full time equivalent experience, considering career interruption.
Aim
The SIP facilitates and targets dynamic and responsive research that aims to improve the experience of ageing through innovation in policy and practice (that is, through research translation).
