The annual South Australian Gerontology (SAGe) Conference

is Adelaide’s primary education and networking event for researchers, service providers, academics, medical and allied health professionals, managers and carers and others with an interest in older people.

This conference (the 20th scientific meeting of the SA division of the AAG) provides an ideal opportunity for to meet and network with conference delegates in an informative and yet relaxed environment.

Sessions will address the conference theme of Ageing Well Globally! Supporting a positive/successful ageing experience could be:

  • Tackling inequity and ageism
  • Co-design
  • Caring
  • Workforce
  • Health Promotion
  • Positive ageing
  • Diversity
  • Reform

Call for Abstracts now closed

The South Australian Gerontology (SAGe) committee will be looking for presentations that consider ways to optimise ageing in a range of contexts.

The SAGe committee are seeking 250-word abstracts for 10 minute short paper oral presentations.

SAGe will be exploring what works in research, policy, practice and service provision settings including: workforce, advocacy, clinical, social to name a few.

Abstracts must be submitted online by COB Friday 12th of July 2024. Online registration for the SAGe24 will be available from July onwards.
