About Us 

Since 1964, AAG has connected individuals and organisations to facilitate collaboration and curate knowledge to improve the experience of ageing. The Australian Association of Gerontology (AAG) is Australia’s peak national body linking researchers and professionals working across the multidisciplinary fields and sectors of ageing.

AAG has over 1,300 members across every State and Territory in Australia. Members include researchers, aged care professionals, geriatricians, nurses, aged care, health and allied health professionals, and other leading thinkers in ageing. AAG has 130 organisational members which have a combined reach of over 100,000 staff and volunteers.
