Ageing well for people in regional Australia

can be different to that for people in metropolitan centres. Translation of research into action so that regional people reap the benefits requires a nuanced, localised approach.

Bringing together a fascinating group of researchers and practitioners, this inaugural rural specific mini-conference will identify important current topics as they relate to ageing well in the regions.

Join us for a day of exploration and discussion on how and where ageing well research is being used to positively impact the lives of regional people as they age.

10 minute walk to Ballarat station.

Join us for dinner at a local venue (cost not included in registration).

  • Learn about current ways research is being used to better understand ageing well in the regions
  • Consider how your experience can contribute to ageing well in the regions
  • Engage with like minded peers and explore future opportunities
